This Privacy Policy applies to the Inner Voice mobile application and the website innervoice-app.com, together with any related services (collectively, the "Application"), operated by Kerim Bayalan (the "Service Provider", "we").

Account data (when you sign in with Google or Apple): email address, display name and a unique user ID. We never receive or store your Google or Apple password.
Content and usage data you create in the app: completed sessions (goal type, date, duration), streaks and rank progress, mood check-ins, custom affirmations you write, and voice recordings you create in Audio Mode.
Purchase and subscription data: your subscription status, plan type and purchase history, processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and our subscription provider RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details — payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
Automatically collected technical data: device type, mobile operating system, IP address, and general usage information (such as time spent in the Application), collected through our infrastructure providers to operate and secure the service.
We process personal data only for the following purposes and legal bases under the GDPR:
Mood check-ins and your use of goal categories may reveal information related to your mental wellbeing. This data is processed solely to provide the Application's features (personalized session recommendations, progress tracking) and is stored securely in your private user account. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared except with the processors listed below as technically required. Where required by law (Art. 9 GDPR), this processing is based on your explicit consent, which you give by actively using the mood check-in feature. You can withdraw consent at any time by no longer using the feature and requesting deletion of your data.
Voice recordings created in Audio Mode are stored in your private, access-protected cloud storage space. They are only accessible to you, are not used for voice identification or any biometric purpose, and are not shared with third parties. They are deleted when you delete them in the app or when you delete your account.
We share personal data only with service providers (processors) that are necessary to operate the Application. These providers process data on our behalf, are bound by data processing agreements, and may not use your data for their own purposes:
We may also disclose data where required by law (e.g. to comply with legal process), or where necessary in good faith to protect rights, safety, or to investigate fraud.
Our service providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, in particular Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (profile, sessions, mood history, custom affirmations, voice recordings) directly in the app under Settings → Delete Account. Alternatively, you can request deletion by email at any time.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at innervoiceapp@outlook.de.
Right to lodge a complaint: If you believe the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age (or a higher age where required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Certain features of the Application may use AI technologies to deliver personalized content or recommendations. All such processing takes place in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Our website does not set cookies and uses no tracking or analytics services. Fonts and scripts are served locally. When you submit the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, message) is transmitted to us via Formspree Inc. (USA) solely to handle your request. The website is hosted by Netlify Inc. (USA); server log data (e.g. IP addresses) may be processed for technical reasons.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access rules ensure that only you can access your personal content (sessions, moods, affirmations, recordings). We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process.
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authorities in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by posting the updated policy with a new effective date; where required by law, we will ask for your consent. Previous versions are available on request.
